• Ecological cleaning products since 1986.
• Made in Germany.
• 100% recycled & 100% recyclable plastic bottles.
The world is getting smaller while the population is increasing, so we have to take better care of it. Already back in 1986, the German brand Frosch started developing a broad range of highly effective, eco-friendly cleaning products for your home and family. They are gentle on the skin, based on natural ingredients, and sold in innovative recycled packaging – which is good for our planet!
1. Carefully remove any stickers that may be rubbed before putting on clothes.
2. Wash new clothes at least once before putting them on.
3. Pay attention to the ingredients of the detergent: choose detergents with a mild aroma if possible (without allergens), detergents without preservatives, hypoallergenic and dermatologically tested.
4. When it comes to dosage, follow the manufacturer's instructions and don't use too much of the product.
5. Use emollient fabric rinses. They smooth the textile fibers and thus reduce friction on the skin.
9 million tons of plastic are dumped into the world's oceans every year. Frosch has come up with an innovative solution to package its products which are made of 100% recycled PCR plastic. 50% of the collected PET packaging comes from European households, for example the so called yellow bags in Germany. Collected plastic is sorted, cleaned and ground into flakes. The resulting material is used to make Frosch product packaging. So plastic remains in the recycling cycle as a resource and does not end up in the oceans. The solution used is simple - the PET bottle becomes a PET bottle, which in turn is environmentally friendly.
Mondi and Werner & Mertz released new, 100-percent recyclable pouch made of polyethylene.
After almost several years of development, Mondi and Werner & Mertz introduced a new, patented innovation in 2019: a 100% recyclable pouch with detachable decorative panels.
The pouch replaces conventional flexible packaging for Frosch products. The pioneering design overcomes many shortcomings of the recycling process and is the result of a joint effort by Werner & Mertz, Mondi, EPEA Switzerland (Cradle to Cradle®), Der Grüne Punkt – Duales System Deutschland and Institut cyclos-HTP.
